Really cool to see there is some demand for New U comics in high grade, however miniscule. I do not collect CGC comics as a rule, personally, but I am happy for anyone who does that these exist.

Having said that, I am considering getting a Starbrand #1 CGC copy at some point - since the character continues to appear in the modern 616 Marvel Universe, its very interesting to see some demand for high grade copies of his first appearance.

Star Brand 1 does appear to be emerging as the most valuable New Universe comic book. At least for now.

Also, to me it was a major discovery that a New Universe comic book (see Spitfire #1) exists in CGC 9.9!

I ended up getting a Starbrand #1 in cgc 9.8 after all! Also acquired a Spitfire 9.8 too. I swear though, I'm not getting into collecting CGC comics!!

CGC updates their census every week. I’ll therefore be making a post here soon with the updated current numbers.
