Thanks for correcting my mistake on the original art. I've corrected my post above and added Tim Perkins to the credits. Tim was not listed in the comics. He's been added to the website credits also. defiant.x10.bz/Dark_Dominion/Dark_Dominion05.html

The only reason I caught it is I knew Jones’ first pro work was Dark Dominion 7. I wasn't thinking. I've been up since 3AM and I sat through a boring training class all day. I'm trying to do 8 hrs of work during 2 hrs of overtime. I was already exhausted by 7AM. One more day of it. Friday will be my short day.. 8 hrs.

Hang in there. I appreciate your sharing so much Defiant stuff here. I know what it's like to post something and get no responses. I don't really care though. I sometimes talk to myself to guarantee an intelligent conversation.
Growing a base of members isn't easy. There has to be a critical mass of active posters on a message board or threads dwindle to silence very quickly.

Years ago, though, you told me something to the effect that you only need one other regular poster. That said, it’s disappointing to me that none of the 425 members of my New Universe FB group post here other than rarely, but some of this stuff I want to document for myself. I used to know how to check my traffic on a message board and where it was coming from, but I don’t recall what I did. And I’m not sure I have the energy for that anymore, anyway. I know I’m getting some traffic from search engines, because now I’m getting visitors even on days posts aren’t made here. Early on I wasn’t.

Google scrambles their URL's and don't reveal to tracking scripts a lot of info that used to be shared. I still get some info from these guys: extremetracking.com/Sign up for the free tracker and put the code they give you in the footer for the board. Click on the image it places and you'll get some info. A lot of the info from my boards normal features looks invalid or worthless to me. The site that hosts my board is not maintained and it's overrun with spam on all the other boards. I am very aggressive with block lists, so I keep it under control. If you saw the block list, you jaw would drop. It's huge. Chances are, if you are in China, Korea, India, or most Southeast Asian countries, you can't even sign up for my board. My biggest source for spam now is from servers hosted by Hurricane Electric out in California. They are harboring spammers. There's really no reason why they shouldn't be criminally liable. I Google search ever new registration and over 90% show up on sites that track spam online. I have those users deleted within 24 hours of them signing up. Even if they never posted anything, I delete them if there's even a hint of them being a spammer. When you posted the link to my board on Facebook, I could count how many people clicked the link. You visited more often than all the strangers.

Engrossing stuff. Thanks for the tips relative to tracking. One cool thing on that post I made that linked to your Defiant archive, was one guy said something to the effect he visits it often. Kind of cool to put a name to a regular visitor.
